Blend Union – The is portion of the site is the exhibit area. Artists are able to create an exhibit and showcase their work on the exhibit’s main page. When a visitor clicks on any artist’s exhibits they can thumb through the complete exhibit, read a full descriptions of each piece of work, listen to audio excerpts on the creation process, leave comments, rate the piece, and have the option to purchase the piece of work.

When Apple released their iPhone SDK; I was excited to create my first iPhone application (app). I had a learning curve with language syntax, but I caught on with some help of their online tutorials and books. The final iPhone app gave the artist the ability to view comments, messages, rating, sold items, and has two cool features that allows them to take a picture of their piece of work, add an audio excerpt with the built in mic on the iPhone and upload it to their profile. Once they have completed the process they can add a description and price. Once its saved, its showcased on their profile and ready for visitors to view and hear.
